BLOOMING FESTIVAL TIME!
A new parade route marks the largest change to the 15th annual Nashville Blooming Festival, which kicks off on Wednesday night with the carnival.
The new route is due to Nashville’s Downtown Redevelopment Project and several jutouts in the downtown area that would have made it more difficult for floats to make the right turn onto Drake Street. However, the new route will give parade watchers more areas to spread out and watch the parade, according to Amy Beasley, who has been in charge of the parade in past years. More ...
