Birthdays should be joyous for all ages!

It's that time of year-- in the next 35 days, four of the five members in my household will celebrate birthdays.
It's a joyous time that Kristi and I used to refer to as Bankruptcy Month because our children barely had enough toys growing up to outfit one Kaybee Store. As a matter of fact, our toning things down did seem to coincide with that chain's financial troubles.

Change can be good - when feasible and functional

Honestly - I'm really not one of those people who stands against anything that prompts change or offers progress. And for the most part, I'm not a "negative person." Some of my closest friends and relatives have accused me at times of trying to find "too many silver linings" in certain situations!
I agree in many circumstances change is inevitable and when thought through and planned fairly, change can be good.
