Sometimes questions offer the best opportunity to penetrate doubt

"'Good teacher', he asked, 'what must I do to inherit eternal life?' 'Why do you call Me good?' Jesus answered." (Mark 10:17-18)
While surfing the internet, I stumbled across a book entitled "Questioning Evangelism". It provides a practical framework for winning souls to Christ.
People seem to forget that the Great Commission is our challenge from the Lord. Why? So others can understand what words like joy, peace, grace, and mercy really mean!

Supply issues are hitting close to home now

I tried not to pay too much attention to all this stuff about supply chain issues in the news.
But it hadn't hit close to home until recently.
They started messing with my Sprite, my toilet paper and my bacon and the whole thing is no longer a laughing matter.
At first, when I heard on the news that Christmas might not be as gifty this year, I was okay with that.

Our local merchants have been busy preparing for the holiday, which has been more stressful than ever given the current situation with shipment issues.
But fortunately I've learned many of our merchants buy from USA wholesalers which have been able to meet their demands.

SOLID SEASON ENDS

SANFORD -- Under normal circumstances, there is little certainty for the Southern Nash High School football program heading into a particular season.
It's become almost taken for granted through the years that the Firebirds will be strong, will compete for the Big East Conference Championship and win at least one game -- and sometimes more -- in the Class 3-A State Playoffs.
