JACQUELINE (JACKIE) TEACHEY
RED OAK - Jacqueline (Jackie) Teachey, 76, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011. She was born July 29, 1934 in Mecklenburg County. She was the daughter of the late Ruby Pridgen Moore and special guardians Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Pridgen and Jake & Lillar Proctor. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Donald E. Teachey.

Jackie is survived by three children, Shannon Houchins and husband Gary of Elm City, Carmon Teachey and wife Rhonda, Kim Teachey and wife Jo all of Rocky Mount, along with four  grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Red Oak Baptist Church on Tuesday May 31, 2011 at 11:00am. Burial followed at Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation was Monday, May 30, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
