THOMAS CLIFTON HAWKINS
CASTALIA - Thomas Clifton Hawkins, 64, died Sunday, February 25, 2007. He was born, April 26, 1942 in Franklin County to the late Alton Hawkins and Inez Wood. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Rosa Height Hawkins and one son Kirk Hawkins, and brothers Wayne Hawkins and Chubby Lee.

He is survived by his daughters: Connie Hale of Castalia, and Melissa Daniels and husband Jon of Rocky Mount, daughter-in-law Sonia Hawkins of Nashville, eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn "Cookie" Bevil of Florida, and a brother Rhonda Hawkins of Rocky Mount, and a half brother Jeff Lee of Wilmington.

The family received friends from Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and other times at the home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Autry officiating, burial will following at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
