VERTA COOPER PARKER
ELM CITY -  Verta Cooper Parker, 79, passed away, Tuesday, August 30, 2011. She was born December 2, 1931 in Nash County. Verta was the daughter of the late Z.D. and Eula Mosley Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband Purvis S. Parker, three bothers and one sister.

Survivors include three sisters, Ruby C. Rose of Nashville, Sevada “Sue” Cooper of Nashville and Dorothy C. Cooley of Elm City, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service was Friday, September 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park in Wilson with the Rev. Gary Wood officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Harvest Baptist Church at PO Box 8818 Rocky Mount, NC 27804
