Charles Rodney Jones III "C.J.", born on April 2, 1998, died on March 8, 2007 at Duke Children's Hospital.
C.J. is survived by his mother Candice Michelle Edwards Jones of the home, Rocky Mount and his father Charles Rodney Jones II and his wife, Heather Cobb Jones of Rocky Mount; brothers, Caleb Reece Jones, Jacob Anderson; sisters, Cassadie Jones, Savanna Jones and step-sister, Riki Contino; his grandparents, Allen and Lynette Edwards, George and Lois Moore, Rodney and Ann Jones, all of Rocky Mount, great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George S. Edwards, Jr. of Rocky Mount, Mr. and Mrs. Percy V. Bridges of Sharpsburg, Preston and Betty Webb of Cape Carteret, NC and the late Joyce Webb, many loving friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family received friends at 4606 Pleasant Hill Road in Rocky Mount.
Visitation and funeral services were held at Grace Baptist Temple on Saturday, March 10, 2007. Visitation followed by the funeral service at 7 p.m. with extended visitation following the funeral services.
Graveside services were held for immediate family on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at 2 p.m. with both services officiated by Dr. Kevin Hudson.
