Tony Lee Carter, 72 passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. He was born in Nash County, August 4, 1939 to the late Robert Lee and Dallie Massey Carter. He was preceded in death by a son, Derek Carter and a brother, Ronnie Carter.
He is survived by his wife Doris Jackie Duncan Carter of the home; sons, Tony Randall Carter and wife, Kim of Middlesex, Ryan Lee Carter and wife, Betty Lynn of Middlesex; brothers, Kent Carter of Middlesex, Trent Carter of Spring Hope; sisters, Glenda Johnson and Lisa Strickland both of Middlesex; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one step grandchild and two step great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Carter Family Cemetery in Middlesex behind the home of Tony Carter, located at 3693 Rocky Cross Rd. Middlesex with Rev. Robbie Price officiating.
