Eleanor Rose Rhodes Hoell, Age 89, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012.
She was born in Castalia to Alexander and Annie Rose.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jasper “Jack” Rhodes and husband Herbert Hoell. She is also preceded in death by her seven siblings.
Survivors include daughters Margie Snow, Penny Rhodes and Brenda Rhodes, sons John Bowes and his wife, Shirley, Billy Rhodes and his wife, Sylvia, Allen Rhodes and his wife, Earlene and Joseph Rhodes; 12 grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
A Celebration of her life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012, in the Chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount with the Rev. Tim Griffin officiating. The interment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 7 until 9 PM.
