Ruby Rogers Batchelor passed away on April 13, 2012.
She was born February 17, 1930 in Halifax County to the late James George and Ethel Mae Britt Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Batchelor, Sr., her son Luther Batchelor, Jr., and her brother, Glenn Albert Rogers.
She is survived by two daughters: Janis B. Turner of Rocky Mount and Billie Jo Barbour (Dave) of Raleigh; two sons: Glenn Mitchell Batchelor (Nicole) of Richlands, and Jeffery Graham Batchelor (Dennis) of Calgary, Canada; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, rocky Mount.
