SPRING HOPE - Mattie Ruth Driver, 92, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012.

She was the daugther of the late Walter and Vera Medlin and was preceded in death by her husband, Jordan Calbot Driver.

A funeral service was conducted on Monday, April 23, 2012  at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Spring Hope Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Moore officiating, Interment followed in Oakdale Cemetery, Spring Hope.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Brantley and husband, J.O. of Spring Hope; Patricia Moore and husband, Robert of Bunn; Susan Beasley and husband, Vander of Spring Hope; son, Stanley Calbot Driver of Virginia; sister, Jean Matthews of Nashville; brother, Bill Medlin of Nashville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 177, Spring  Hope,NC 27882.
