NICK TARBUK, JR.
Nick Tarbuk, Jr., age 87, passed away on April 20, 2012

Nick is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Diana (Shorak) Tarbuk, their four daughters and spouses, Linda and John Krueger, Las Vegas, Nevada; Lisa and Dr. Kennon Barringer, Red Oak, North Carolina; Lori and Robert Hottle, Great Falls, Virginia; and Leslie and Michael Susich, West Palm Beach, Florida; ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother George Tarbuk and many other nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings Peter Miljenovic, Dorothy Harworth, Michael Raich Sr., Stana Maravich, Mildred Selak and Mary Brown.

Viewing and Pomen will be held on Thursday, April 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. and funeral on Friday, April 27 at 9 a.m. at St. Mark Orthodox Church, 7124 River Road, Bethesda, Maryland, 20817. Interment will immediately follow the service at the Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Saint Luke Serbian Orthodox Church Building Fund (in Nick Tarbuk’s name), 10660 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854; Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church 30 10th Street, Midland, PA 15059 or Friends of Hospice, c/o Hospice and Palliative Care of Nash General Hospital, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount.
