MARY ETTA COOPER
Mary Etta Cooper, 96, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 in Nash County.  She was born September 26, 1915 in Nash County to the late Frank and Genie Evans Rackley. Mrs. Cooper was also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Charlie Beamon Cooper, her sister, Agnes Rackley Floyd, and her daughter, Shirley Cooper Matthews.

She is survived by her son  Jimmy L. Cooper and wife Ann; daughters Jean Cooper Greene and Bonnie Cooper Manning and husband, Donny; brother James Rackley; sister  Minnie Bee Webb; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.           

A funeral service was  held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville. The committal service took place Monday, June 4, 2012 at 11:00 am at Forest Hills Cemetery.
