SUSIE HIGHT RALEY
Susie Hight Raley, 90, passed away, Saturday, May 5, 2007 in Nashville, NC. A teacher in the Nash County School System from 1970 until 1984, she worked with migrant children and also served for many years as a substitute teacher.

Born in 1917, in Franklin County, NC, she was valedictorian of her class at Gold Sand High School. She also attended East Carolina taking education courses to fulfill her teaching certificate. Wife of the late businessman, Adrian R. Raley, she is survived by a daughter, Nancy, a son, Michael; daughter-in-law Melissa, and two grandchildren, Adrian and Reeves.

The family received friends at the home, Monday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Graveside service were held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Nashville United Methodist Church @ 209 E. Washington Street, Nashville, NC 27856

Arrangements are entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, 1052 South First Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
