LOUIS DOUGLAS BARNES
Louis Douglas Barnes, Jr., age 59, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He was born in Nash County on August 22, 1952. He was the son of Louis Douglas Barnes and Kathleen Coggins Barnes. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Douglas Barnes.

He leaves behind his wife, Sheila Pitt Barnes of Rocky Mount, two daughters, Sheridan Barnes Grace and husband Liam Grace of New Orleans, LA, and Leslie Barnes Jenkins and husband Paul Jenkins of Greenville, brother Stephen Joseph Barnes and family and sister Carol Barnes Whitehurst and family.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief with the Reverend Larry Curtis officiating. The family will receive family and friends following the service.
