Earl McClees Farmer, 82, of Bailey, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday at White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Bailey. Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Elm City. The Rev. Reuben Cason officiated.
Earl is survived by his wife, Jean Lamm Farmer; step-daughters, Connie Sherrod of Bailey and Susan Boykin of Rocky Mount; step-son, Michael Howard of Bailey; sisters, Mabel F. Baker of Greenville and Rebecca F. Joyner and husband, Lauris of Nashville; several nieces and nephews; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Irene Bulluck; brother, William Ardell Farmer.
