Ozie Heath Swinson, age 81, passed away Friday, September 07, 2012. Born in Onslow County on April 08, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Henry Faison and Eva Jarman Heath. She was also preceded in death by husband, Richard B. Swinson, Sr.
Survivors include her son, Richard B. Swinson and wife Gayle; daughter, Lillie S. Braziel and husband Rev. Jerry Braziel; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a sister, Trudy Hatcher; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to remember Ozie was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 09, 2012 at Pineview Cemetery, section 59 with Rev. Jerry Braziel officiating. The family received friends at the home of her granddaughter, Shannon Joyner.
