FRANCES SINGLETARY LUDLUM
NASHVILLE –– Frances Singletary Ludlum, age 85, passed away  on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Born in Bladenboro NC on April 30, 1927, she was the youngest of three girls born to Berta and Tullie Singletary. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Vivian Hester and Mildred Hester and her husband Joseph “Buddy” Ludlum.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Ludlum Swindell and husband Senator A.B. Swindell IV of Nashville, three grandsons, and two great-grandsons.

A service to remember Frances was held  Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Nashville United Methodist Church, 209 E. Washington Street, Nashville with the Rev. Ralph Brown officiating.  A graveside service was held at Lewis Cemetery in Bladenboro NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Nashville Lions Club, Nashville United Methodist Church or Nash Community College.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount.
