Raymond Coley, Sr., 86, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012. He was born September 21, 1926 in Nash County to the late Otha and Minnie Coley. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Estelle Coley, a daughter, Linda Collins and a brother, Willie Gray Coley.
He is survived by one son, Raymond Coley, Jr. and wife Penney; four daughters, Jean Walker, Louise Hayes and husband Wayne, Barbara Blanchard and husband Richard and Brenda Coley; one brother, John “Bunk” Coley; one sister, Irene Pierce; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at Coley Family Cemetery of Nashville.
