RUTH FARMER HAMMOND
Ruth Farmer Hammond passed away on November 29, 2012. She was born October 13, 1921 and was the daughter of the late William Leslie and Bessie Murray Farmer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, William James Hammond, also five brothers, James Farmer, William Farmer, Leamon Farmer, Jack Farmer and Luther Farmer, a sister, Pearl Morris, a grandson, Jim Hammond.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmie Hammond and Donnie Hammond, four daughters, Judy Langley, Bonnie Toler, Fairy Wilson and Mable Hunt, six sisters, Margie Calhoun, Virginia Burgess, Patricia Lancaster, Frances Greene, Jeanette Rowland and Brenda Banks, two brothers, Albert and Jake Farmer, eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Monday, December 3, 2012  at Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Moss officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
