DANIEL LAWRENCE AYCOCK
Daniel Lawrence Aycock, age 69, passed away at home Monday, December 17, 2012. Born in Halifax County on March 20, 1943, he was the son of the late William “Buster” Van Aycock and Ophelia Taylor Aycock. He was also preceded in death by his son, Bill Aycock; sister, Allene Lucas; and brothers, Percy Aycock, Alton Aycock, Van Aycock Jr., Wayne Aycock and Jack Aycock.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Julia Liles Aycock; son, Steve Aycock and wife Jennifer; daughter, Julia Allsbrook and husband Robert; three grandchildren; brothers, David Aycock and Tommy Aycock; sisters, Suzanne Bunish, Emily Bass and Jane Dennis; and several loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was   held at 11 a.m. Thursday morning at the family home with Rev. Allen Williams officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 4502 Swift Creek School Road, Whitakers NC 27891 or American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville NC 27834.
