DOROTHY NARRON JOYNER
NASHVILLE – Dorothy Narron Joyner, 93, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. She was born in Nash County on November 26, 1919, daughter of the late Buck Narron and Bettie Boone Narron. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Joyner and twelve siblings.

Surviving are two daughters, Lois Sherrod of Nashville and Hazel Bryant of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren  and numerous “adopted” children and grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Friday, January 4, 2013 at Millbranch Cemetery with Rev. Ron Hawley officiating. Arrangements by Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home in Rocky Mount.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Women’s Ministry, Macedonia Baptist Church, 551 Macedonia Rd., Spring Hope, NC 27882.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief, Rocky Mount.
