LARRY JEFFERSON DEW
NASHVILLE - Larry Jefferson Dew, age 78, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Born in Edgecombe County on July 03, 1934, he was the son of the late Howard Dew and Alma Faircloth Dew Strickland. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Albert Strickland and brother, Jimmy Dew.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Aljah Ray Dew; sons, Alan Dew of Nashville and James Dew; daughter, Teresa Tate and husband Tim of Roanoke VA; five grandchildren; brother, Pete Strickland and wife Ida Pearl of Nashville; and sister in law, Sarah Dew.

A service to remember Larry was held January 11, 2013 in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
