JULIA TAYLOR SEARCY

Julia Taylor Searcy, 92, passed away on January 12, 2013.    Judy was born October 10, 1920 in Edgecombe County to the late Leon and Ruby Roberson Taylor.   She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard Simpson Searcy, four brothers, and three sisters.           

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Leonard, Dawn O`Neal and Dawns husband, Sidney; six grandchildren;  several nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held  on January 15, 2013.  The committal will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11:00am at Pineview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses, National Kidney Foundation 4701 Hedgemore Dr. Suite 810, Charlotte, NC 28209-3842 or, American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
