Betty Williamson Bass Bailey “BB”, 84, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013. Born in Sanford, she was preceded in death by her parents Irvin Hoyt Williamson and Fannie Underwood Dickens and her husbands, Edward T. Bass and John J. Bailey, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Edward T. Bass, Jr. of the home, William Lawrence Bass of Wilmington, David Eugene Bass of Nashville and John J. Bailey, III (Debra) of Tarboro; three grandhchildren; three great-grandchildren; and mother of her grandchildren, Pamela Stokes Bass.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Nashville United Methodist Church with Rev. Ralph Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery
