IRMA BOYD
Irma Boyd Briley, 81, passed away, August 20, 2007. She was born September 23, 1925 in Pitt County. She was the daughter of the late Bruce and Sudie Cook Boyd. Irma was a life long member of West Haven Presbyterian Church. She was very fond of her affiliation with the Eastern Star and Shrinette Organization and Railroad Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Briley Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Carl H. Briley Jr. and wife Tamara of Nashville, one daughter, Carol Buttry Cochran and husband Paul McGrath of Placitas, New Mexico, three grandchildren, William K. Cochran and wife Kristine, Benjamin T. Cochran and wife Christine, Michael Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Abby Grace Cochran and Evan Christopher Cochran.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 7:00-8:30 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Memorial service will be Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Dr. Mike Clark officiating.

A very special thanks goes to all her caregivers at Autumn Care.
