LOUISBURG – Juanita Davis Tharrington, 86, of Louisburg, passed away on December 8, 2013.
She was a daughter of the late, Berry and Lillie Brown Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen T. Tharrington; sisters, Florine Gardner, Annie Mae Mattox and Magdalene Smith; brothers, William Davis, and Joseph R. “Bill” Davis.
A funeral service was held December 11, 2013 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Jared Pemper officiating. Burial followed in Lancaster Memorial Park.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Tharrington; daughters, Judy Young and husband, Juan; Brenda Robbins all of Louisburg; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
