DONALD “BOOTS” ROYCE WATSON

Donald Royce “Boots” Watson, 82, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. He was born in Nash County on August 22, 1931 to the late Theodore Randolph Watson, Sr. and Pauline Todd Watson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Howell Watson; and brother, Theodore Randolph Watson, Jr.

He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Watson of Wilson and Jane W. Cutchin (Mason) of Hillsborough; son, Brian Watson (Beth) of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; step-children, Robert, Debbie, and Faye all of Rocky Mount.

A funeral service was held Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Dr. Harry Fowler officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 4948 Carter Road, Elm City, NC 27822.
