Elbert Clemon Fisher, age 86, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Born in Nash County, he was the son of the late Jerry Fisher and Mattie Harper Fisher. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Fisher.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry Fisher and wife Kim and Elbert Ray Fisher and wife Marie; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Flossie Fisher Winstead and two brothers, Earl Fisher (Elizabeth) and John Fisher (Patsy).
A funeral service was held Friday, December 27, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Coffey officiating.  Burial was at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westview Baptist Church, 3408 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount NC 27804.
