JAMES LESTER HAYWOOD

NASHVILLE - James Lester Haywood, 70, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014.  He was born in Wilson County, December 2, 1943 to the late Dorcie Lester and Bertha Jenkins Haywood.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Dent-Haywood; sons, James Jr., Phillip, Bob and Tim Haywood; daughter, Beth Haywood-Winders; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Jim’s name to NCAF (Nash County Animal Friends)/PAWNC (Promoting Animal Welfare in North Carolina).  You may do so by mailing donations to PAWNC, 2455 Hurt Drive, Rocky Mount, NC  27804 or give to Karen at services.  Please note in memory of Jim.
