ROCKY MOUNT - Linda Gibson Williams, age 65, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014. Born in Marboro County SC on October 11, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Malloy Gibson and Lena Russell Gibson.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Harry Williams; daughter, Stacey Adams and husband Mike of Raleigh; son, Frank Norton and wife Alicia of Rocky Mount; three grandsons:sister, Kathy Gibson Puckett of Laurel Hill.
A service was held Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Pastor Brett Hill officiating. A service was also held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at St Johns United Methodist Church in Gibson with Rev. Melvin Barnett officiating.
