CHARLES ROSS “JACK” CONE, JR.

CASTALIA - Jack Cone, died on May 8, 2014.  He was born January 3, 1922 to Nannie Strickland Cone and Charles R. Cone, Sr.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy Winstead Cone,  brother Julian Cone, and sister Mary Cone Eatmon. Survivors include: five children, Graham Mercer and wife, Pattie, Steven Mercer and wife, Bettie, Becky Mercer Stallings  and husband, George, Glenda Cone Nines and husband, Tommy and Brenda Cone Wheeless and husband Kent.  He also leaves six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to the Building and Grounds fund at Castalia Baptist Church.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10 at Cornerstone.  Interment followed at Maplewood Cemetery in Wilson.
Arrangements by Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville.
