David Lee Burnworth, 69, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014.  He was born in Indiana July 7, 1944 to the late Harry Rex and Helen Walton Burnworth. 
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet Smith Burnworth; daughters, Dawn Burnworth, Annette Brown (Mike); two grandchildren; brother, Rex Burnworth (Patsy).
A service  was held Friday, May 16, 2014 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.  Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
