Alice Barnes Robertson, age 79, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. A native of Rocky Mount, she was born May 26, 1935, the daughter of Guy Earl Barnes and Alice Abernathy Barnes.
She is survived by her son, James Jeffrey Knight and wife Antonia of Austin TX; five grandchildren; sister, Judith Barnes Agnew and husband James of Durham; and brother, Marion Barnes and wife Kathryn of Red Oak. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, James Knight and Raymond Robertson; and son, Guy Barnes Knight.
A service was held Monday, June 16, 2014 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Parker Phillips officiating. A committal service  followed at Pineview Cemetery.
