Johnette Bailey Strickland, age 53, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Born January 27, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Rosa Pierce Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Pee Wee” Strickland; brother, Tom Bailey; and brother-in-law, Donnie Watson.
She is survived by her  son, Johnathan L. Strickland Sr. and wife Monica; three grandchildren; sister, Brenda Watson; brothers, Bob Bailey and wife Linda, Roy Bailey and wife Kay, all of Rocky Mount.
A memorial service  was held Friday July 25, 2014 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Pastor Greg O’Neil officiating.
