ROCKY MOUNT –– Robert “Patches” Arrington, 70, died on Thursday, July 24, 2014.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 28, 2014 from Light of Peace with Rev. Lonnie Braswell officiating. Burial followed in the Luther Chapel Church cemetery.
Survivors include his spouse, Josephine Arrington, of the home; one daughter,  Inthia Bowman-Ruffin, of Washington, DC; one son, Travis Willias; five sisters, Annie Battle, of Nashville, Eunice Evans, of Nashville, Shirley Leonard, of Ft. Washington, MD, Linda Paylor, of Largo, MD and Debbie Jones, of Rocky Mount; two brothers, Rufus Arrington and Thomas Arrington, both of Baltimore, MD; and three grandchildren.
