Russell W. Willett, Jr., age 74, passed away on September 7, 2014 in Rocky Mount. Born in Hagerstown, Maryland on February 29, 1940 he was the son of the late Russell Willett, Sr. and Elizabeth Palmer Willett. He was also preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Willett Taylor.
He is survived by his daughter, Marie Willett of Annandale, Virginia; his best friend and companion for eight years, Frances Constans of the home;  his sister, Lois Willett Bowden of Dayton, Ohio; one granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Rocky Mount, Nash Hospice or a charity of one’s choice.
There will be a memorial service at Trinity Lutheran Church on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 3:00pm. The family will meet with friends and relatives in Resurrection Hall immediately following the service for light refreshments. Arrangements by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
