Doris Skinner Long, 82, passed away, Thursday, October 9, 2014. She was born October 13, 1931 in Wilson County to the late Robert and Lillian Nichols Skinner. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Douglas Long and brother, R. L. Skinner, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Long and wife Kay, daughter, Janice Long Daniels and husband Allen, sisters, Texie Glover, Geraline Wiggs, and Carolyn Lucas, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
