Cecil “Randy” Randolph Green, Jr., age 57, passed away  Saturday, October 25, 2014. Born in Nash County on November 3, 1956, he is preceded in death by his father, the late Cecil Randolph Green, Sr. He is the son of Gaynelle Flowers Alford and the late, James Edward Alford, his step-father.
He is survived by his   wife of 28 years, Donna Taylor Green; his daughter, Amanda Leigh Green of Raleigh; his step-daughter, Amy Burrus Peterson, and her husband, Jeff of Wilson; one grand-daughter; sisters, Peggy Williams and her husband, Al of Rocky Mount and Wanda Gold of Apex;  brother, Michael Green and his wife, Julie of Rocky Mount; and step-brother, Don Alford and his wife Tammie of Greenville.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 28, 2014   at Benvenue Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, with Rev. Tom Gearhart officiating.  Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery.
