PHILLIP EDWARD DOUGHERTY, SR.

Phillip Edward Dougherty, Sr., age 64, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014. Born in Newport News, VA on June 29, 1950, he was the son of the late James Edward Dougherty and Dorothy Leggett Griffin.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Stott Dougherty of Sharpsburg; one daughter, Lorrie Dougherty Pipkin and her husband, Nathan of Ayden; one son, Phillip Edward Dougherty, Jr. and his wife, Marty of Ayden; sister, Mary Lou Rogers and her husband, Ricky of Omaha, NE and one brother, James (“Butch”) Dougherty and his wife, Vickie of Tarboro; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
Arrangements by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Rocky Mount.
