Glenda Mae Wakefield, 61, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015.  She was born in Franklin County July 10, 1953 to the late John Andrew and Clara Griffin Cothran.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Andrew Cothran and a sister, Frances Cothran Wood.
She is survived by her husband, Burdette Michael Wakefield; sons, Christopher Wayne Yelton and wife Sharon, Michael Wayne DeZurik and wife Alisabeth; daughters, April Spring DeZurik, Patti Frances DeZurik; 10 grandchildren; brother, Vernon Cothran and wife Miriam; sister, Patrice Cothran and husband Robert.
A service was held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Community Chapel Church on Taylor Store Road, Nashville with Pastor Carol Wiggs officiating.
