ANNIE SHEARIN
ROCKY MOUNT – Annie Belle Hall Shearin, 79, died Friday, June 16, 2006, at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst following an extended illness. Formerly of Rocky Mount, she resided in Raeford.

Born on June 18, 1926 in Johnston County, Shearin was the daughter of William Jasper and Martha Hinnant Hall and the wife of Norman Wilson Shearin Sr. who preceded her in death in 1981. Also preceding her in death were brothers Wilbert, Vernon and Everett Hall and a sister, Barbara Cox.

Survivors include sons, Norman Wilson Shearin Jr. and wife, Anne, of Kitty Hawk, and Steven A. Shearin and wife Deborah of Rocky Mount; daughter, Verna Shearin Barnhill and husband, Walter, of Raeford; sister, Geraldine Blackmon and husband, Grady, of Rocky Mount; brother, Frank Hall of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
