GLENNA MARSH BALL

Glenna Marsh Ball, 84, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015. Glenna was born on November 20, 1930, to Creed O. and Lelah Hovatter Marsh in Nestorville, WV.
She is survived by her husband, Don Ball; her daughter, Kim Chandler and husband Larry; two grandchildren; one brother, Wilfred Marsh and wife Jeanie; three sisters, Martha Ball and husband, George; Clara Nestor and husband, Charlie and Betty Jones; and brother-in-law, John Price.
Glenna was preceded in death by her parents Creed and Lelah Marsh, her infant brother, Billie Zane Marsh; her sister, Idola Price, and her beloved son, Donnie Ball.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 100 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27803 or Community Home Care & Hospice, 2479 Hurt Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Philippi, WV at Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut Street, Philippi, WV. Burial will follow the service at Nestorville Cemetery in Philippi, WV. A visitation will be held at Wright Funeral Home on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 1 to 2 p.m.
