NASHVILLE - Joseph Paul Shaw, Jr., 80, passed away, Friday, January 23, 2015. He was born April 12, 1934 in Dunn to the late Mary Penny Shaw and Joseph Paul Shaw, Sr. Paul’s maternal grandparents were Mary Franks and Jesse Penny. His paternal grandparents were Naomi and Henry Shaw.
Survivors include his son, Kevin Shaw and his wife Teresa; and daughter, Laurie Shaw Olson and husband, Douglas; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeannette Tucker Shaw; sister, Mary Jo Harrison and her husband, Tom; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins..
Visitation was held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Nashville United Methodist Church. Memorial service followed with Pastor Ralph Brown officiating.
