Margaret “Teency” Braswell Doughtie passed away February 9, 2015.
Born December 9, 1924, in Nash County, she was the daughter of the late David and Annie Floyed Winstead Braswell.  She was predeceased by her husband, James Edward Doughtie, sister, Lessie B. Alford, and brothers, Clarence B. Braswell, Eugene G. Braswell, Joseph M. Braswell, and Shelton P. Braswell.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Ayscue Ritter and husband, Kenneth Ritter of Fayetteville; three step-daughters, Dale D. Lane (Dan) of Chesapeake, VA, LaRue D. Johnston of Whitakers, NC, and Kitty D. Etheridge (Jesse) of Mechanicsville, VA; eight step-grandchildren; fifteen step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Frankie Carroll and Rev. Chet Harvey officiating.  Interment   followed at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
