CECIL RAY REAMS

Cecil Ray Reams, 84, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. He was born in Nash County May 11, 1930 to the late James Ray Reams and Grace Todd Reams. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Johnnie Mae Reams and two brothers, Bobby Louis Reams and Arthur "Bub" Reams.
He is survived by sons, Don Reams and his wife, (Kathy, John Reams and his wife, Wanda, Danny Reams and his wife, Christy, Jerry Reams and his wife, Kim, and Terry Reams all of Rocky Mount. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild; his brother, Steve Reams and his wife, Mary; sisters, Dorothy Hayes, and Shirley Turner, and her husband, Bruce Walker.
A service to celebrate his life was held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Southside Baptist Church with Dr. Harry Fowler officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 4948 Carter Rd, Elm City, NC 27822.
