William Brinkley, 84 of Nashville, passed away on July 2, 2015.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., at Bunn Chapel Baptist Church, Nashville. Burial, Spring Hope Memorial Gardens. Pastor Wayne Hines will officiate. A wake will be held on Tuesday night from 6-7:30 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.
Survivors: daughters, Lois Brinkley Ghist and Alice Brinkley Dunston of Nashville, Veronica Brinkley Arnold (James) of Rocky Mount; son, Joseph Earl Brinkley (Margaret) of Rocky Mount; sisters, Lizzie Drewery, Mattie Arrington (Sammy) of Nashville, Louise Dunston of Spring Hope, Ida Lewis and Willa Mae Strickland of New Jersey; brother, Roosevelt Brinkley (Naomi) of Nashville; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
