Marjorie T. Daughtridge

Marjorie T. Daughtridge, age 93, of Blackshear, GA, passed away on Thursday morning, October 29, 2015, at the Pierce County Nursing Home in Blackshear, Georgia. Born in Nash County on June 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Samuel M. Taylor and Zettie Wallace Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Paul Daughtridge; her sister, Gertrude T. Murray; and her brother Robert Frank Taylor.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Hortense Taylor of Jacksonville, FL; several nieces; great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews; and a cousin.

Services were held Monday, November 2, 2015 in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery.
