Benjamin Franklin Vick

Benjamin Franklin Vick, 86, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015. He was born December 25, 1928 in Nash County to the late Robert Dewey and Geraldine Viverette Vick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steve Vick; brother, Paul Vick; sister, Roberta Winstead.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Daisy Parker Vick of the home; mother-in-law, Oretha Parker of Nashville; two sons, Timothy McCoy Vick of Nashville, Phillip Eugene Vick and wife Martha of Pinetops; one daughter, Charlotte Vick Blanton and husband Tim of Rocky Mount; four brothers, Darcy Vick, Harvey Vick, Herbert Vick and wife Barbara, all of Sandy Cross and Robert David Vick of Rocky Mount; four sisters, Nellie Vick of Sandy Cross, Pearl Crumpler and husband Jim of Mt. Olive, Wiverly Taylor and husband Allen of Rocky Mount, Lois Perry and husband Allen of Spring Hope; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 12:30-2:00pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Reuben Batchelor and Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Burial will be at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Taylor's Chapel @ 1933 Sandy Cross Road, Nashville, NC 27856.
