Jerry Wayne Joyner, 59, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015. He was born June 30, 1956 in Nash County. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Odis Elwood Joyner and a sister, Nancy.

He is survived by his mother, Leona Barnes Joyner; one brother, Willard Joyner and wife Lottie of Winterville; one sister, Hilda Joyner Delbridge and husband Jerry of Henderson; several nieces; one great niece and one great nephew.

Graveside service was held Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Mary Todd and Rev. Danny Davis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Mount Volunteer Fire Department.
